FJ 62 History
The Toyota FJ62 is a series of 4WD vehicles produced from 1981 to 1991. It is an evolution of the FJ60, with some updates to the body, suspension, and powertrain.
The FJ62 featured a more luxurious interior with amenities such as power windows, air conditioning, and an updated dashboard. It was available in a variety of body styles, including a wagon and a hardtop. The FJ62 was powered by a 4.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, which produced 135 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. It was paired with a four-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. It had a solid front axle and leaf spring suspension, which provided good off-road capabilities. The FJ62 was also equipped with a four-wheel drive system.
